July 2024: Joined TechEquity full-time as their VP of Data & Technology.
May 2024: Completed my Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Chicago with a concentration in Data Science.
March 2024: Began building a recommendation system for Korean Dramas.
February 2024: Accepted as a member of Women in AI Ethics.
December 2023: Began collaborating with Tech Equity Collaborative on their Housing Data Initiative.
October 2023: Awarded the Kreisman Fellowship by the Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation.
September 2023: Started the second academic year of my MPP degree at the University of Chicago.
August 2023: Published a piece in Tech Policy Press on data privacy and teletherapy apps.
June 2023: Started a data science internship at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, where I analyzed credit card and mortgage loan data.

A little about me

I’m a data scientist and program manager with a decade of experience leveraging data to drive strategic insights across the tech, social impact, and public sectors. I recently completed my graduate degree at the University of Chicago, where my work focused on the intersection of data science and public policy. I’m interested in leveraging data science to advance progressive policy outcomes and mitigating the harmful impacts of AI and algorithmic decision-making in areas such as racial equity, healthcare, labor, and housing.
